Color Stripper for Vat Dyed Cotton Fabric JL-A

Brief IntroductionThis product serves as stripper and leveling agent, which has great affinity to cotton fiber. It is environment friendly. And it is suitable for stripping and leveling dyeing of vat, sulfur, reactive and direct dyes. It also has retarding effect on vat dyes and direct dyes. Moreover, it serves as stain preventing agent in washing process after printing of reactive dyes and direct dyes.

For Vat dyesIt provides obvious stripping effect by adding the product in vat dye bath, and specific stripping effect is decided by the application level of color stripper.

Suggested application levels of the product for vat dyeing and printing are 3-5g/L in long bath.

As to deep color, we suggest add protective colloid or dispersing agent to prevent precipitation If the water is hard, we suggest add chelating dispersant. Stripping temperature should be set as high as possible, but should not be higher than 85 to keep the stability of dye bath.

The following is the suggested stripping formula

2 g/L        Chelating dispersant

10-15ml/L    Sodium hydroxide 36°Be,

5-6g/L       Sodium hydrosulfite

3-5g/L       JL-A                

Treat the fabric between 60-85 for 45-60 min (dye bath is reductive by test), then wash with warm water, finally wash with cold water. If the liquor ratio is longer, the possibility of precipitation of vat dyes in stripping bath is less.

Suggested Bath Ratio

 Light Color  51   Medium shade  81101   Deep Color  101 or Higher

For Sulfur DyesThis product also can be used for stripping sulfur dyes. Strip the dyed fabric in stripping bath composed of sodium hydroxide and sodium hydrosulfite in stead of in boiling sulfur dyeing bath. The application principles of stripping sulfur dyes are the same with that of vat dyes.

Stripping color from direct dyed fabrics 

1g/L    Sodium carbonate          

2g/L    Sodium hydrosulfite                                       2g/L     JL-A

Keep the temperature of the stripping bath at 50 for 30-60min, subsequently rinse the fabric thoroughly.

Stripping color from reactive dyed fabrics

15ml/L   36°Be, Sodium hydroxide

5g/L     Sodium hydrosulfite

2g/L    JL-A

Keep the temperature of the stripping bath between 60-80 for 30-60min, subsequently rinse the fabric thoroughly.

This product is specially recommended to use in washing of those reactive dyes hard to remove by washing, besides conventional detergents, adding 0.5-1g/L of this product into washing bath.

Important Note

Stir to mix well before using and keep the container of the left product sealed for using next time.
